In the age of digital photography do you ever wonder just how many images are captured but never published in any way shape or form? I would guess that only about 5% or so of images taken are published.
I know I am guilty of it for sure. We have an external hard drive full of photos and videos that have never seen the light of day. One day that hard drive could fail or become incomparable with current technology and those images could be lost forever. Not to mention the fact that we take photos for a reason.
So that we can share them.
This is a key aspect of the creative process. Creating in a vacuum does not foster more creativity.
Such thoughts have me working on ways of getting my images published. Setting them loose in the wild, letting go of them. Sharing them.
