I do not remember exactly where in Somalia this picture was taken but you can see that it is a more rural area by the huts in the background. It is another image that shows wherever we stopped for any length of time children would gather to stare. If we were stationary long enough they would eventually work up the courage to get closer and closer. Some villages we would frequent and over time you would get to know the kids as best you could.
Wherever I travel in the world all kids are basically the same. Friendly, smiling, curious, and easy to get along with. Kids want to be your friend. Somehow most of us lose that over time as we grow old. Maybe this is what Matthew 18:3 hints at.
